Our Story

Grown in India,
Trusted Worldwide

We started Good Mushroom with one goal: to give India's incredible mushroom farmers access to the global market they deserve.

Our Mission

Bridge the Gap Between
Farmers & Global Buyers

India grows some of the world's finest medicinal and culinary mushrooms β€” yet most farmers sell locally at low prices because they lack export connections. We exist to change that by becoming the trusted bridge between Indian growers and buyers worldwide.

For Buyers

Reliable Indian Supply, Zero Guesswork

We take the complexity out of importing from India β€” handling sourcing, quality control, packaging, and documentation so you receive exactly what you ordered, on time.

For Farmers

Fair Prices, Steady Orders, Real Growth

We pay fair prices, provide market intelligence, and offer growing guidance so our farmer partners can grow their businesses alongside ours. A strong supply chain begins at the farm.

What We Stand For

Our Values

These principles guide every partnership, every shipment, and every conversation we have.

01

Quality First

We never compromise on product quality. Every batch is tested, every specification verified. Our reputation depends on yours.

02

Total Transparency

Clear pricing, honest timelines, and open communication. We tell you what we know β€” and when we don't know, we find out.

03

Farmer Fairness

We pay above-market rates to farmers, ensure prompt payments, and invest in their growth. Sustainable supply starts with fair trade.

04

Global Standards

Indian-grown doesn't mean low-standard. We enforce international quality protocols, certifications, and compliance across our supply chain.

Our Operations

What We Do, Exactly

We are a full-service mushroom trading and export company β€” not just a marketplace.

Sourcing & Farming

We grow Cordyceps militaris, Shiitake, and Lion's Mane at our own facility in Himachal Pradesh β€” taking advantage of the ideal high-altitude climate. We also buy from a network of verified partner farms across India, visiting each farm to assess quality and growing practices.

We do not simply list products on a platform. We physically visit farms, sign offtake agreements, and build long-term sourcing relationships that give buyers a predictable and dependable supply.

Processing & Export

Fresh mushrooms are processed β€” cleaned, graded, dried or powdered β€” at our processing unit. Extracts are produced using standardised dual-extraction methods with third-party lab testing for every batch.

We handle all export requirements: FSSAI licensing, APEDA registration, phytosanitary certification, IEC compliance, commercial invoicing, packing lists, and coordination with freight forwarders for both air and sea cargo.

Why Mushrooms?

A Market Whose Time Has Come

The global medicinal mushroom market is projected to grow from USD 9 billion in 2026 to over USD 22 billion by 2032. Demand for Cordyceps, Lion's Mane, and Reishi extracts is exploding in the US, EU, and East Asian markets.

India β€” with its diverse climates, skilled farmers, low production costs, and massive growing capacity β€” is perfectly positioned to become a dominant global supplier. We intend to lead that transition.

Himachal Pradesh Advantage

High Altitude = High Quality

Himachal Pradesh's cool temperatures, clean air, and pristine water make it one of the best places in India to cultivate high-potency medicinal mushrooms like Cordyceps β€” with bioactive concentrations comparable to Tibetan-sourced varieties at a fraction of the price.
